...to my model construction site. It's nice finding you lost to this place. With this site I'd like to show my hobby, the model airplane construction and flying, to interested people. I wish you much pleasure on clicking around.

 

There has been a change in the hangar. Because the Variant 2 is now located on the airplane graveyard the Lentus Thermik is now in the hangar.

 

 

 

To extend the flying season I installed the Whopper's illumination to the Super Zoom.

 

 

 

The flaps of the Super Chart became reality.

 

 

The first test flights were successful. The landing speed with full flaps became clearly slower. With a mixer "flaps → elevator" the nose up pitch with flaps can be effectively avoided. The stall behaviour with full flaps remained good-natured. The modified ailerons need some expo for comfortable control.

 

 

Unfortunately the test flights with the Micromum V8 haven't been successful. A two-blade rotor of this size is more difficult to control than a three-blader. Therefore I'm planning to build a three-blade version from the remains.
