The Super Chart is a relatively ancient trainer model provided by Simprop. By chance I came by a kit without drawings. I anyway decided to build up this model. Thereby I changed the construction from combustion engine to electric motor (hence to playful exhaust mock-ups). Additionally I built in ailerons. Like this a pleasant trainer with good-natured flight characteristics evolved. My daughter is in charge for the smiley design. I offered her to decorate a plane with smileys instead of her exercise books only.

For reducing the landing speed I decided to modify the wing. I replaced the end-to-end ailerons by shorter ones at the wing tips. The free space I filled up with flaps. All servos are completely built into the wing. The linkage of the flaps is done through the end bar. The additional servos overloaded the BEC of the ESC. Therefore I had to replace the ESC by one with a more powerful BEC.
